January Blog Train at Pixel Scrapper

Happy New Year! The theme for this month's train at Pixel Scrapper is Science Fiction and I went all the way back to the fifties for my inspiration in the first kit. Think "The Thing", "War of the Worlds", "Forbidden Planet", and "The Day the Earth Stood Still." The one that scared the living daylights out of me for a long time was "The Thing." I think it was  the end of the movie where one of the characters seemed to look right at you and warned you to "beware and watch the skies, there are more of them." I was very young!

That being said, the second kit is in honor of one of my favorite early television shows, the original Star Trek. My son was born the year it came out and I used to feed him white watching the program. When he got older, we watched the reruns and he became a fan too.

Download links are below. And if you didn't come from Pixel Scrapper, you can find the rest of the train here.

Retro Holly Jolly add-on

Hi all! I had some papers left that didn't make it into the Pixel  Scrapper December blog train kit. Since I didn't want them gathering dust on my hard drive, I added a few elements and made a mini.  If by some chance you missed the blog train, just scroll down for my part and a link to Pixel Scrapper for the rest of the train.

A very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday to everyone.
