This and That

I'm working on a beach freebie with a color scheme from a blog train.  The train is due to leave the station on August 1 and I'm trying to get up the nerve to join it.  However, whether I join it or not, there will be a new freebie the beginning of August.  It's about time - right????

In the meantime, this is a page I just did for an art journal challenge at Hummies World.  I took an old photo of Tessa (who has been waiting for me  at the Rainbow Bridge for several years now) and used a watercolor treatment on it.  I really like the way it turned out.
 

New Freebie

I'm just finishing up a designer class at Moo Two Designs.  It was a 12-week course and was very worthwhile.  The members of the class did a collaboration kit called Destination:_______.  My destination was the desert - what else!  There are also destinations to the beach, the Barrier Reef, and an unknown destination.  They can be found in the Moo Two Designs store here.  One of our last projects was to do some freebies and here is mine:

Hello Spring - a new freebie kit

Moo Two Designs color challenge for April had a nice pallet so I decided to play with it.  Spring is finally showing her face here.  We have had some nice warmer temperatures and the daffodils are up.  Not blooming yet, but they are up.  Spring and fall are my two favorite seasons.  So without further ado, here is the kit.

Thankful freebie

Sad news - the Digital Design Den will be closing the end of this month.  It is the only site where I have been active and I'm really going to miss it.  Unfortunately, life sometimes demands changes.  However, I am thankful for the friends I made there the good times we had.  So in the spirit of the season I put together a small mini kit to show my appreciation. It is called Thankful.

Painted Desert Addon 2 Freebie

Thought I was all done with this, but found a few more items to add.  Now I really need to get busy and scrap my photos from our recent western trip.  As of right now, I don't think there will be any more additions to this kit, but I could be wrong!  Hope you enjoy playing with it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
