July BlogTrain at Pixel Scrapper

 Hi All, My theme for this month's train is Nature. Hubs and I are fortunate enough to live within five miles of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and love walking on the towpath and hiking  the trails. Except for pink birds and bears, you can find everything pictured here in the park. If you are lucky, you may also see beavers, muskrats, otters, herons, eagles and white tailed deer.  Hi All! Happy New Year! My first kit of the year highlights winter snow. We had 9 inches of the fluffy, white stuff on Christmas Day but it is mostly gone now - until the next snow storm comes our way. Hope you like it and will get some use out of it. September BlogTrain at Pixel Scrapper

 Hi All! It's time for the Pixel Scrapper BlogTrain again. One of my favorite places to visit is the Southwest so I chose a desert theme. Most of our time there has been spent in Arizona or Utah. Utah has five National Parks - each one beautiful and each one unique. We have been to four of them and the fifth is on our bucket list.  As for Arizona, we had family living in Phoenix at one time and were able to visit many times. We've seen the Sonoran Desert around Tucson and the red rocks of Sedona plus many other areas around, in between and beyond. Another wonderful area is Canyon deChelly which is on Navajo land. You need a Navajo guide to visit, but the beauty of the canyon, the cliff dwellings, the petroglyphs, and the stories our guide told us made it a wonderful experience. Hi All! Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. Nine months! My creativity sure took a long time out. A beach kit has been on my mind for quite some time and this pallette for the Pixel Scrapper blogtrain was perfect. June Blog Train

Hi All!  Welcome to the June blog train at Pixel Scrapper.  The theme this month is England.  This was rather special for me as Hubs and I were lucky enough to visit England in 2001.  We were there for almost two weeks and saw as much as we could in that short time.  The highlight of the trip though was meeting my English penpal face to face.  We had been writing to each other for a little over 50 years.  She and her husband took us to visit Cambridge and Hampton Court Castle plus several places in London.

Animal Kingdom add-on - Ferrets

I know it is the middle of the month and not the usual time for a post, but I had a request to create a few things for ferrets.  This is what I came up with.  I used the same pallette as the Animal Kingdom blog train so it should blend in with all the other goodies.  Hope you like it.

March Blog Train at Pixel Scrapper

Hi All! Well here we are - another month, another blog train!  The theme for this month's train  is Animal Kingdom.  We each picked an animal or animals and created our kits.  I must admit that I went a bit overboard again, but what can I say, I love cats!

There are many rescue organizations that are bursting at the seams with cats (and dogs) so if any of you are considering a pet, please keep them in mind.  And remember too, that older animals make loyal companions.
